We motor-sailed to Normans Cay. With several days of tradewinds predicted, indicating continuing east winds, we anchored on the west side of the island instead of in the south anchorage. The south anchorge has a strong current and we needed a peaceful night for sleeping. We got it.
In the south anchorage are the remains of a downed plane, said to be from the drug-running trade as it occasionally gets into conflict with the authorities. Makes for quite a view.
Our spot offered only a pristine beach for walking and coral heads to dive on to your hearts content. [in case you don't recognize this masked person it's Carol, with Enchantment behind]
Normans Cay was lovely but with another front expected to bring contrary winds we decided to move on down to Pipe Creek.
